THIS BOOK REVIEW IS DEDICATED TO GRAMMY
Series Title: 3rd book in The Leven Thumps series
Author: Obert Skye
Illustrator: Obert Skye
Genre: Fantasy, Fiction, Action and Adventure.
Suggested age range: 11-14 years, Reading level: Slightly intense
If you liked this book, try; Percy Jackson series, The Land of Stories, Lawless, and the rest if the Leven Thumps series
This book is a captivating tale about a boy named Leven thumps and his journey to and in a great world called Foo, where hopes and dreams rule. In the 3rd book of his adventures, Leven must journey to the island of Lith, to warn the Want of a secret that has come to pass. This griping book will have you on the end of your seats, cliffs, stools, or couch, wherever you can enjoy the suspense of this book. Will Leven reach The Want in time, or will all of Foo perish in the clutches of this evil secret?
My favorite part is when Winter and Geth are trapped in the cage on Lith and they are trying to break free. I also really enjoy when the souls of a Baadyn, and Winter gets to see the wonders of the underwaters for herself.
My highlight is Clover Ernest. Clover tries so hard to be a good and normal Sycophant, but just ends up, in his opinion, doing the worst. But, in my opinion, he is selling himself short. (No pun intended!)
I liked this book because it has loads of action, adventure and suspense. I love the books that can drag you in.

BOOK REVIEW: The Lightning Thief
BE PREPARED, IF YOU READ THIS, THERE ARE SPOILERS!!!!
Series Title: Percy Jackson
Author: Rick Riordian
Genre: Adventure, Fantasy, Fiction and Greek Mythology
Suggested age range: 10-12, Reading level: Easy-ish and short (375 pages) chapter book.
If you liked this book, try; The Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, N.E.R.D.S. and the rest of the Percy Jackson series.
This is the first book of this engaging book series about a kid named Percy Jackson. (Duh!) This first book goes through his tough times in school to him finding out about his “God/Mortal” linage and all the way up to Zeus himself claiming that a son of Poseidon has stolen his priceless (and nuclear) thunderbolt. TA-DA! And up pops Percy, and wow, he’s a son of Poseidon, too! So he must go on a long quest. Did he actually steel it? And why does Annabeth hate him so much?
My favorite part in the book is when Percy Fights with Ares for the Helm of Darkness. And Ares doesn’t expect a wimpy demigod to totally whip his butt! He totally didn’t see it coming!
My highlight is Hermes. He is, as usually portrayed, extremely kind and cunning. I think he should have mixed it up, and he certainly did with Luke!
I liked this book because it had all of the action and adventure of a good novel, and it had the perfect combo of humor in the mix, too! Great job, Rick Riordan!

BOOK REVIEW: Stoneheart
Series: The Stoneheart Trilogy
Author: Charlie Fletcher
Genre: Fiction, Fantasy, Action and Adventure.
Suggested age range: 11-13, Reading level: Slightly challenging.
If you enjoyed this book, try; Percy Jackson series, The Heroes Of Olympus, and The Mysterious Benedict Society.
This book is about a boy named Gorge who thinks life can’t get any worse, until he punches a stone gargoyle and his life takes a turn for the worse. Suddenly all of the gargoyles, statues, busts and basically anything like a statue comes to life. Gorge will need the help of Eddie, a glint who can see hidden messages in certain items that are otherwise junk, and The Gunner, a kind and helpful statue who helps them along on their quest to get Gorge back where he belongs.
Favorite Part: I like it when gorge fights the dragon because of all of the description and all of the powerful words used to make it feel like you are a speculator of a great battle.
Highlight: My highlight is The Gunner because he never had to help these kids, and yet he readily and repeatedly risks his life for the safety of Gorge and Eddie.
Why did I like it or not: I Liked this book because it is the type of book that sucks you in and feels like you are in another dimension of the world, when you are really curled up in a cozy corner looking like a zombie.
